Roccabox ‘Go Girl’ January Edit

Good evening friends,

As I’m writing this, it’s a chilly, wet and windy Saturday night.
Tomorrow I plan to have a full on pamper session, and this box will definitely help.

The January ‘Go Girl’ box, brings you 5 products for £13.95 including P&P.

This box was heavy, I knew before I ripped it open I was in for a treat.

Skimono beauty masks – Total conditioning boot masks RRP £9.99 full size
If you haven’t tried a boot mask before, I encourage you to do so asap! I’ve tried a few from Poundland and B&M, and doubt this one will be much different, but they are great fun. Don’t panic, they won’t leave your feel peeling, instead, they’ll be soft and smooth, perfect for feet that have any dry skin or been neglected.

Mudmasky Hair mask, scalp Treatment and Miracle Shampoo RRP £21.78 full size 75ml
I have a shampoo, and a conditioning hair mask treatment on the go so will set this one aside.
I’ve used this hair mask previously, I was happy enough with it, although it did have a baby powder scent which isn’t always what you want your hair to smell like, but it does leave it healthy and strong.

Shea Bliss – Cherry Bomb Body Butter RRP £2.99 full size 250g (recieved 40g)
Well isn’t this the most adorable little jar you’ve ever seen? This body butter is filled to the brim! I rubbed a pea sized amount between my hands and covered both hands and palms completely.
A little goes a very long way. I haven’t heard of this brand before, but for the outcome, and the price, what an absolute steal!

Oh K! SOS Soothing Face Lotion RRP £8 Full size 100ml
This face lotion is lovely, with a very faint fresh scent, I’ve smoothered this over my face and neck (remember face, neck and hands show age first). I have dry and sensitive skin, so am a little skeptical at trying new face products, but this made my skin soft and nourished.

Doctors Formular – Probiotic 12 Hour Day Protection Moisturiser RRP £89 full size
I have a few skin/face products open at the moment so will put this by to use in a few months time… I have to say for that price tag, I expect extraordinary results!

In January, I’m more than happy to receive a
box that will help to replenish your possibly dry and neglected skin.

For a moment I did think that I would of liked a bit if make up, but realistically, I havent got any need for more. To be honest,I haven’t been wearing much the past 10 months, and after searching, it would probably just get tucked away in my vanity for a few months.

£12.95 for 4 full sized products? I am pretty damn happy with that! Similar to the January Birchbox, this month concentrates on replenishing your skin, and setting up a good routine for skin care and bringing back a bit of normality. No time like the present!

Blogmas – Scavenger Hunt

Good morning friends,

Sunday afternoon we took a stroll around the beautiful town of Brading.

Each Christmas, my other half and I, take part in a Christmas quiz.

The Christmas quiz is arranged each year by one of our family friends, who picks a town for us to explore with a list of scavenger hunt style quiz questions

The quiz of 40 questions took us just under 2 hours whilst we strolled around the quaint little town.

Friends and family would normally take part in the quiz together in teams, this year was different but fun all the same.

Perfect way to spend a crisp Sunday afternoon
