Bathbox, subscription box

YourBathbox January 2021

Good afternoon friends,

Another month, another YourBathbox.

If you’ve read my reviews before, you’ll know that for almost a year now I’ve been delighted with every single box I’ve received. Honestly, I never knew you could recieive such a fantastic box to never disappoint.

This month’s winter box is filled with seasonal delights.

Igloo bath bomb RRP £4
How adorable? This Soft floral bomb had a hidden surprise in the middle. As I attempted to flick some bubbles off of my hand, instead half of the bathbomb flung off, no matter, I found the surprise. My bath became a beautiful shimmering lilac

Penguin Bathbomb RRP £3.75
What a dear sight this one is. This sweet lemon meringue scented fella will be waddling and fizzing in my bath this weekend

Snowflake Soap RRP £4
My favourite scent by far, it sends me back to my childhood. I think I’ll put this one by for the spring and summer months

Ice Crystal Bathsalts RRP £3.50
These bath salts don’t smell like Pomegranate at all, instead they have comforting masculine but soft scent, if that makes any sense?
These would be perfect for a late evening bath to set you for a good night’s sleep

Lavender Calm Balm RRP £9.99
This balm is perfect to roll onto your wrist after a bath to aid you in a deep relaxing sleep
My sleep has improved the past couple of months, with a few uncomfortable nights here and there. Anything to help me to relax is welcomed

2x Assorted Bath Fizzers RRP 99p
These sweet floral scented fizzers will be out by, again ready for spring.

Superdrug Pampering Face Mask Haul

Good morning friends,

Before I started my ‘No Spend 2021’, I stocked up on a few essentials, face masks being one.

I enjoy a sheet mask as much as the next girl, but there’s nothing quite like peel off and creamy face masks to pamper your skin

I’m trying my hardest, where possible to only purchase Cruelty free products

We’re in luck, all Superdrug’s own brand items are Cruelty free, and extremely affordable.

All of the masks below are also Vegan friendly, and just 99p each, and currently 3 for 2!

  • For sensitive skin
  • Peel off masks
  • Clay masks

With masks for all purposes –

  • Revitalise
  • Detoxify

I filled my boots (basket), and bought a variety of each

I bought the Avocado & Oat Face Mask tub, it has a thick consistency, easy to apply and smells fresh, there’s not doubt it’s avacado!

Superdrug Face Mask Tubs 75ml

I’ve tried a majority of these masks before, and have loved them, especially the Strawberries and Cream.

Have you tried these face masks before?

If not, would you give them a go?

Blogmas 2020

Blogmas – Bathbox November 2020

Good evening friends,

Since April I’ve received the Bathbox Subscription box.
Each month is tied to a theme and contains 3 bath bombs, bath salts and a relaxing treat.
This treat can be soaps, candles, cleansers, but never fail to excite me.

This month is Snow White themed, I didn’t expect it, but what a wonderful idea

Snow White bomb RRP 3.75

The sparkling white bath bomb is fresh linen scented, and big enough to crumble into your bath bit by bit, or use it all in one go for one luxurious bath

Castle bomb RRP £3.75

This bomb was packaged in a white box with a picture of the castle, as soon as you open it, the sweet Peacan pie scent hits you. Such a pretty bathbomb, and again, a decent size.

Poison apple RRP  £3.75

What I first opened it I thought I was broken, to then find this Sweet Apple scented bomb comes in 2 parts how clever is that?

Pedi bomb treat bag RRP £2.50

Yes I squealed a little bit, how beautiful is this little blue bag? It contains a pedi bomb that can be added to warm water to relax and sooth your feet, what a lovely and refreshing idea. The bag is gorgeous, I have no idea what I’d put it in but I may just hang it on my dressing table for display

Spellbound bath salts RRP £3.50

These bath salts with an added fizz smell delightful, add a sprinkle, or the whole bag for a calming bath

Each box I say, ‘this is my favourite
month’, because they just on keep getting better and better. I’ve loved every single product I’ve received this year, which is a rare statement for anyone to say about a subscription box, but honestly, I couldn’t recommend it enough!

Bathbox May 2020

Good morning friends,

Friday afternoon I recieved my second Bathbox. May’s theme is ‘Dreams’.
I’m I’m definate need of a little something special this months, and ove been looking forward to my bathbox since last month!

Dream catcher bomb RRP £3.50

One of the prettiest bath bombs I’ve ever, I dont know if I want to use it. With a sweet sherbet like scent, I think I may wait to use this one when I want a pamper night.

Sparkling Dreams Bomb RRP £4.50

I can’t say I’ve tried an orange scented bath bomb before as never too sure on lemon or orange for skin care but this bitter orange one smells insane, perfect when you need a bit of get up and go.

Man in the moon bomb RRP £3.50

This bathbomb is incredibly heavy, smells deliciously and is sprinkled in glitter.
This was the first one to meet my bath, and wow. The most calming floral scent, leaving me with a slight body shimmer after, it was perfect right before bed.

Lavender dream bag RRP £0.99

Now this is exactly what I needed, without knowing.
I think we can agree we’re all a little stressed at the moment. Now this might just be a placebo, but ivw had this little bag tucked into my pillow the last few nights, and I’ve never slept better.

Sleep Easy Salts RRP £3.50

I havent used these yet, or finished my last ones, but looking forward to treating myself with these luxurious lavender Epsom salts.

I am absolutly in love with this subscription box. The quality, the price, the fact that so much thought and care has been put into it and that its always tied to a theme, instead of just random bits and bond thrown together. The perfect gift

Hello friends,

I hope you’re all keeping well, especially through these odd times!

So for the last couple of weeks, everyones weekends have been a bit out of the ordinary.

I’ve developed a bit of a routine which has been comforting as its nice for something to be able to stay the same, especially where I spend a majority of free time with family and friends. Skype, zoom, whatsapp are amazing, but it’s just not the same. Any who, here was my sunday.

Not long after I got up I did my 15 minutes of Yoga

I’ve been absolutely loving yoga for the last couple of weeks. I feel so refreshed through out the day and am sleeping alot better too.

Now, I dont really agree with sugary/gimmicky breakfast cereals (for everyday meals), but when I saw these in B&M yesterday, I basically hugged a box!

Oreo O’s. Man. I have wanted to try these for years and have never seen them in the UK… for under £9 a box.

Sunday cartoons with a bit if a naughty or fun breakfast is something my boyfriend and I love to do.

Easily could of polished off the box. They were so good!

I spent the morning catching up on podcasts as I gave the house a good clean. This included washing my make up brushes.

I get a bit grossed out by them even if they’re clean, if I’ve had them for too long I’ll chuck them. I’ve heard too many horror stories.

I decided to put the new series of Kardashians on in the background whilst I cleaned my vanity and changed the bedding.

Is it just me or are they the most miserable/boring family now?

I haven’t watched the show properly for god knows how many years.

I used to love the show back in the day because it seemed alot more raw, honest, funny and real.

Now they’re picture perfect at all times, only care about they’re appearance and struggle to show a personality. This isn’t just them, this is most tv/youtube/instagrammers nowadays.

Each to their own, but I want to engage with more than just a pretty face, with good highlighter and a filter on every single picture.

Any who.

I then headed out for my daily exercise and go for a run.

My goodness, it was busy. (Obviously not in this picture… took me a minute to get a clear view)

I couldnt tell you the amount of families, cyclists and dogs I saw. I can tell you I saw one flaming idiot not social distancing who almost barged into me if I hadn’t of jumped out the way.

I turned round and stared and he really couldn’t be bothered to even ask others excuse me.

I mumbled angrily to myself for the next 5 minutes like Homer Simpson.

After a decent run, soaking up the Ray’s and taking in the beautiful views… I seriously love the Isle of Wight, I decided to head home.

For dinner, I made one of my all time favourite dishes, Biriyani.

Oh man the kitchen smelt wild!

We spent a couple of hours just chilling, trying to catch up on WordPress and watching Father Ted, my other half ran me a bath. (He’s so thoughtful)

I spent way too long in the bath. But at a time like this, we all need a little pick me up.

After a long bath and a full on pamper session, which included writing out this weeks plans, recipes, who to call on what days, I still need structure, and it relaxes me.

I am currently in bed with my foot pack on ready to watch Captain America Civil war.

My boyfriend and I have been rewatching all the Marvel Films from the beginning.
My goodness, you forget how much there us to take in!

I hope you’ve all had a wonderful weekend, and make sure you take care of your mind, body, soul and your loved ones.

Night all.
